Love is... complicated. Its hard, frustrating and can even be heartbreaking. But love is amazing. It's heartfelt, mesmerizing, and breathtaking. It's sweet and when you find it you never want to let it go. If it's so incredible why do people take it and hold it, caress it, then drop it and walk away like there was never anything there? Why is it ok for people to take it for granted and to use it for personal gain. I want to find someone to love me for me and not what I can give them physically but for how i can help them grow to be a better person. I think that i would find life unbearable without the taste of love. Without holding someone close to me knowing that a part of you with them. I just wish for once someone would say those three words and mean it, then stick around because those words are said to much with no meaning and not enough with true intent. I love you! is it that hard to say?
I love you. I love you with all my heart and nothing can change that. (don't say that then let things change it in an instant)
You cant stop loving someone in a day. Love doesn't work like that. I believe love is a feeling, and a choice. You must continue to work on it everyday, just like your testimony. If you don't you WILL lose it, and it will be devastating.
So let me ask you this...
When was the last time you said I love you and meant it? And when are you going to allow love to be in your heart again? I'm here waiting for love. Are you? Are you waiting for love or are you looking for love? Love is right in front of you. Go for it. Don't be afraid to be let down because true love is worth ALL of the hardships you'll ever go threw.
Let love in, and let it flourish.
I love you

ReplyDeleteI really like it, I thought of Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. "those three words, are said too much, but not enough" It's definitely true. I think these days people think it's expected anymore. People say love so quickly because that's what explains what they have come to interpret as "really like" I thought about one of my favorite quotes by C.S. Lewis as well. "Don't use words too big for the subject. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite." I think that love is used too often as " I really Like you" and not enough as what it really is, an infinite emotion that outside of itself is indescribable. So I 100% agree with what you said, people should only say it when they mean it and mean it when they say it
